We Love Sunsets

We love sunsets. It’s romantic. It’s this feeling of gratitude and awe, that reminds us that we’re okay and that no matter how small physical we are, we are an integral part of this world. No two sunsets are the same and it’s a good reminder to slow down and smell the roses, not sweat the small stuff, and just enjoy the stunning sunset colours.

I also love sunrises, though I’m usually not awake, at least not enough to get organized, or even out of my bed. There are times when I do get up, sometimes to get a certain photograph, like for the Moeraki Boulders in New Zealand. That early morning, I went out with my gear, including a new tripod and ND filers. Amazing. I also did see the sunrise from Mt Fuji in 2006 and over the sand dunes of Morocco in 2004. Those pre-iPhone and DSLR days.
