I love photography. I always have. It’s a way for me to capture moments. It’s how I experience and see the moments. So my photos are usually deeply personal.
My camera gear includes a variety of Canon cameras and lenses, though many of the photos on this website pre-date that equipment.
I also have the Minolta (yep, they don’t even make these anymore) that my dad gave me in high school. It was a gift from my mom to my dad so it’s rather special. I’ve captured some beautiful imagery with this film camera, including many candid shots of my closest friends. Because it is a film camera, I just never quite know what I will get. This camera is a treasure, not only because of its historic value, but of course as a memento of my dad.
I love natural light and for this reason, I still carry my SLR which is great for low light, though increasingly I rely on my iPhone. The quality of the iPhone just keeps getting better and better and you cannot beat its portability.
I also love macro photography. I do still life. Mostly to capture the fragile beauty of fruits and flowers. And of course as I live with animals, there is a ridiculously large library of their photos.
If you would like to know more about any of the photos please contact me. They all have stories. Very personal stories so please do not steal them. Thank you.
I will be holding some workshops on self discovery through photography later in 2016/early 2017. Sign up to stay updated.
